Gastric Balloon at SRH

Hi has anyone had Gastric Balloon at Sunderland? Just wondered what the waiting time was.

hi im getting balloon done there 1st dec and waited over 6month for date x

how long??? crikey - did they lose your notes or something?

I've phoned this morning to put my mind at rest, and they have my details on computer (phew!) but haven't allotted me a date yet. They said that the wait was 8 weeks from day of referral, so I should be done at the back end of December/early Jan at the latest.

I'm off the week of the 19th Dec to celebrate my birthday and last christmas - I bet it comes then!

novamay no they didnt lose me notes i had appointment for july 29th to get balloon fitted but couldnt make it so rung them and heard nothing til last week and getting it fitted this thursday 1st dec at sunderland x
