I'll be honest to begin with i was weighing myself daily and getting really down if the scales didn't move. My hubbie hid the scales and i now weigh myself weekly. I have only had one clinic appiontment so far and not due again till 20th October. There have been some other threads on here where others have said they became obsessed with weighing themselves so i think my only advice would be to remove the scales and limit you weigh ins to weekly or less often.xx
For me it is every monday morning, first things, scales in the same spot in the kitchen - and just occasionally in between if I feel I need to monitor my progress, but I do try and stick to weekly!!
im a scales addict ! i get weighed every morning, if i gain i have 2 be extra good that day with food, its wrong i know but it works for me, it keeps me on track
When I diet I like to see how Im doing and if what Im doing is working and I always start off weighing myself every day. I've got a wii fit and I weigh myself on that now, that gives me my BMI and weight. Sometimes my bmi may have gone down slightly but the weight in lb's has stayed the same so at least i know Ive lost something, even if it's not a whole pound! After a few weeks I then progress to a few times a week until I can manage once a week!!
