I know many of you have wished Grom well but it is tradition to start a thread for surgery well wishes. Here it goes:

AN ODE

'As I await my surgery I thought I'd pen an ode
to all the lovely people who have helped me on this road.
You welcomed me with open arms and talked with so much sense
So that I could make my choices, full of confidence.
I know it won't be easy and that this is just the start
but it's a thing I have to do, I know this in my heart.
I'll be back here soon after the op and my new life will begin.
Thanks again to all you 'posters' for helpiing me get thin!'
