Well I have just picked up from my doctors/phamacist my tablets and they are different from the ones the hospital gave me.

For starters they are capsules and not chewable and secondly they do not say for people who have had WLS, which the other ones did.

My doctor wasnt their and a locum prescribed them, are they ok.

Whats their name? I have lanzoprazole or lansoprazole and they are capsules and not fast tabs. I took fast tabs for 2 weeks post op then my gp prescribed be the above. 2 for 6 months then 1 forever x

OH thanks hun mine are called Lansoprazole, so that sounds OK.

You have put my mind at rest.:)

Glad to help hun x

I've been told I only need to take Lansoprazole for 4 weeks. I've got the Fas-Tab ones that dissolve on your tongue.
