Hi all,
I'm Leah, 34 and living in Harrow, Middlesex. I'd been considering having surgery for a while, but when my boyfriend said he would give me £5000 towards it (he doesn't think I need surgery, but knows what it means to me) I decided to go for it.
I've struggled with my weight most of my life and have PCOS, which makes it so difficult for me to lose weight.
My BMI is 40 and I've been told I'm more at the lower end of the scale of people having surgery.
I had an appointment with The Hospital Group, but wasn't happy with them so decided to go with Healthier Weight, even though they do charge more.
I've just booked my surgery for 25th September and am so excited and nervous! I will be having the surgery in Birmingham.
I wanted to say hi and if anyone has any tips or advice then I would love to hear it.
Thanks for listening
