For what, honey??? What stage are you at, where do you live, are you funded. We need more info to be able to help you ... it is on the whole though, a lengthy process ... take care xxx

This can vary depending of what part of the country you live in. So you have been told you have been funded & put on the surgeons list ... is that right? Have you seen a dietician or a psycologist yet?? If you have & you think you should have heard by now, you can always ring your surgeons secretary to see where you are on the list. Try to fill more info in on your profile so we can see at a glance the info we need to enable us to help you more xxx
Well yes and no ... you don't really weigh 23lb do you, lol Don't worry sweetheart, it was more where you live that was important so than people in your area can tell you what their wait was like. It sounds like you have jumped through all the hoops, so I would be ringing Mr Khan/Kendrick's secretary just to see where you stand. She is the only one who can give you accurate (ish) info at this stage as anything we say is just our personal experience & maybe not relevant to you. There is a thread in the WLS Meetings & Support Group section called Walsall Massive which will be very helpful for you as it is all about Walsall Manor & peeps who had their ops there. Keep posting though as it helps to be able to air your concerns & receive support when you need it. Chin up, sweet xxx
Yes, your profile is fine now ... have a good look at all the posts on here & get involved. We are very friendly & it helps to have friends who are going through the same as you are xxx
Which hospital are you under? Each hospital has a different waiting list length and others will hopefully know what it is at yours.
Have you had confirmation of the funding as well as being told you're on the list? Some hospitals don't apply for funding until they offer you surgery and any delays in that would delay your journey.
I think it may be worth calling the surgeon's secretary to see what's happening, I'm sure she will be happy to put your mind at rest.
Hi Ellen and welcome to the forum. I can't offer you any help with your question on the time scale as I went private so it was very fast for me. However I can offer you all the support and help on other aspects as I can.
