Driving after Banding ...How Long????

Can anyone tell me how long we have to wait before driving again after Banding?

definately not for a few days following surgery due to the effects of anesthetic. I was driving on day 6 after my surgery - but that primarily due to the fact I was having a week at home to chill out. I would probably have been OK on about day 4.

Best advice is to speak to your surgeon or ward nurse, they will be able to best advise.

I was told 10-14 days depending on your Insurance companys guide.
Ring them up and ask, I decided to just leave it 14 days anyway.

My provider told me around 7days. I drove to my doctors day 6 for a check up (wounds) and was told as long as I was ok doing an emergency stop then I would be fine!

2 weeks is advisable and the emergency stop is important as mazza stated.
