how long.........

i had my 1st appointment with the bariatric nurse and dietician last week and then this week i recieved a letter detailing what was said between us at the appointment.but can anybody tell me how long i will wait to to recieve my next appiontment to see the surgeon? im finding myself waiting for the postman every day,silly i know but i cant help it

Are you having your op at sunderland? If so, its normally 6 months until you see the surgeon but sometimes the letters don't arrive until just a few weeks before x

Hi

With the NHS you will find that you will get the letter almost exactly a month before your next appointment, although sometimes its a little less, this is because the hospital administrators fiddle the weighting lists, that whey they can say when audited that no one waited more than a month for an appointment. Everyone is on a pending waiting list and that one is not shown to the auditors.

ok thankyou and yes my opp will be getting done at sunderland i havnt been given a weight loss target as i have already lost weight to what i was at the seminar in december,i just have to make sure i dont gain back any so im hoping i manage to keep it off

If in doubt call them hunni I kept calling weekly from start to finish 18 months but in down south
