I'm Moaning Again.

Yes yes I know it must come off at some point but I havn't lost a single pound in 2 weeks and it's starting to get on my nerves. To make it worse I'm stuck at 14st 1lb. I know I've had a stinking cold and from experience your body holds on to everything when you have an infection so it can use all it's resources to fight the infection efficiently but, come on body, do something for goodness sake. I'm getting fed up with you. :sigh:

aww kate i really feel for you :( all i can say is what i read on here, up you water and make sure you eat enough, good luck, you'll be in those 13's soon :) xxx

Kate I sympathise! I'm a slow loser too, and can't help but get frustrated when the scales aren't budging! I should stop weighing myself so much, and relax really. When you think about what we have had done, it can't fail to work, I guess we just have to be patient love! Grrrrrr! :)

aww hugs it can be soo frustrating but u will get moving again I'm sure of it, have u tried upping ur calories or drinking more seems to help loads of people xx

monthly weighing seems the way to go if you're a slow loser xxx

I know im pre op but im having the same problem just 2 lb to hit a 4st lose and its just won't happen i exercise 3 times a week and mix it up, i drink water ect and that last 2 lb just wont shift !!!!!!!!!! so frustrating so i know just how you feel hun :(

I sympathise over the stall. I know exactly how you feel as I have not lost a single pound for the past 20 days and it is so frustrating to say the least. I have been trawling the internet all morning trying to find details about Slimming World or Weight Watchers in the vein hope that I can find some help to start everything moving again. I know that I am a slow loser but this is heartbreaking. I will be going to see my surgeon on 25th and would love to lose more before then.

I have read here lots of advice to people who have stalled but not seen anyone returning to say if the advice worked or not. Would love to know what actually works to break a stall.

I am still keeping my portions down to a small tea plate or small rice bowl - each portion is approx 200ml.

blimey u dont want that lol xxx

YES, you do ... they are your worst enemy at the minute, Kate ... banish them for at least 2 weeks. They are undermining you :( why are we so ruled by such a small piece of equipment :sigh: Try to concentrate on other things rather than those little numbers on the dial. You know you are losing inches so just work with that for now. If I was 20 stone but a size 8 I would not care (heavy bones, don'ch ya know, lol) Deep breaths, honey, it will happen ... hope you are feeling much better now your cold is on the way out xxx :wave_cry:

Thanks everyone. I know I can come here and you'll all understand. It's just that I can feel the optimum time slipping away. I know I'm doing well but I've only lost about 28lb since the op which yes I know is fantastic, don't know why I'm moaning really, stupid isn't it. The rest of the weight I've lost on the pre-op and the WW I did leading up to the pre-op. Would just love to see a 13 on the scales rather than a 14 I suppose. I do seem to be a slow loser, though I realise I'm one of the smaller ones to begin with which I expect makes a difference.

I think if I went back to WW, I wouldn't actually be able to eat the quantity of food required to get in all the points each day.

I always seem ungrateful even when I've been given this fantastic gift.

Hi Kate, I haven't lost anything at all this week and this is the first time I have stalled. But I know last week I didn't drink half as much water as I normally do. It definitely does make a difference if I don't drink at least 2l per day. Try and up your intake, it may not work for everyone, but definitely makes a difference with me

Hi Kate,

I've already made Paul hide the scales. Only gonna weigh once a week.
You've already lost loads. I would kill to be your weight.

Try and drink some more and make sure you are eating enough

Love
