Here we go, the secrets of a nurse! This only works if the stockings have got an opening in the toe. Put the plastic bag that they stockings come in onto your foot. Then fold the stocking inside out so that you just have the foot bit the right way. Slip your foot in (this is easier because of the plastic bag) then in one fell swoop pull the remainder of the stocking up yer leg, there you go, Bob's yer uncle! Don't forget to take the plastic bag off afterwards, it gets kind of hot in there! Every time I put these on a patient (countless times every day) they say 'oh, that's how you do it'. It took me three years at university to discover this. haha
