Loose loo rush

Hello

Iv 5 days post op, and on liquid food diet,
Im not daft i know a liquid food diet was bound to up set my tummy, but wondering if anyone else had this and how long would it last!

The hospital gave me laxatives, hardly see the point!

I wasn't able to go for a few days after my op and then I got the runs for several days. It calmed down and everything returned to normal. From speaking to a few other ladies it seemed to happen to us all post op.

Ah ok thank you yerh i didn't go for 3 days after sugery got home and iv been going ever since, going at least 10 times a day, so badley wanna take an imodeom :/ not sure if it will do more harm than good tho x

I spoke to my nurse at the time and she said it was normal and checked with my surgeon and he was happy for me to take imodium. I didn't need to in the end as it sorted itself out. If it's very bad it might be worth checking to see if you can take some to get a bit of relief.
