Just a quick one.

If any of you use myfitnesspal, do you count every calorie for salad and veg?

I know to count fruit but wondering if you bother with veg.

Yes I do. Once you've inputted it a few times its really easy to add them.
 
I do too. I find it easier to know exactly what I've eaten.
 
i do .... but quite shocked by some of the calorie contents - I am so used to ww and slimming world where most veg is 'free' ... 50 cals for onions??? OMG!

does anyone want to add friends on myfitnesspal? (billy no mates on there at the moment!)

Its scary isn't it? And I found I became afraid to eat fruit or veg.

Myfitnesspal is brilliant! If you want to add people just click on the MFP icon under their name (which I see you have). Rather than posting on the open forum.

The open forum can be googled but googlers cannot see or gain access via the icon :D

Same applies for facebook, twitter, etc etc
 
I use it! And now I've worked out how to put a link in my profile! Hurrah!

I can't help you with that I'm afraid. You don't get the same functionality with the apps but its really not wise to swap email addresses etc on the open forum ;)

I used it avidly at first and it is useful especially at the very beginning to highlight foods that you may think are ok but that turn out to be a bit of an :eek: but my dietician does frown on it :(. I did however continue to use it daily and for everything up until the last month or so when i stopped as my daily intake of bland foods was more or less the same day after day. Now the balloon is out, bypass done and I'm starting on the thicker liquid today it's getting fired up again :) ... I'm Billy no mates as well but to be honest I never really set that bit up :eek:
