Is it Mr Richard Clayton, the endocrinologist at UHNS? If so, I didn't like his attitude at all. I saw him a few years back as I've got a cyst on my adrenal gland, although at the time it was just a 'mass'. His attitude towards me was pretty aloof and standoffish, he barely looked at me, he was about 3/4 hour late for my appointment despite the fact he was in his room and had not had a patient in there for the whole time. Wasn't very satisfactory with his explanations of my condition and I felt very dismissed by him. I didn't like him! He was also meant to have me back yearly for scans on this lump and has never bothered. Which reminds me...!!!!
At the time I felt he was dismissive because of my weight, he told me that I needed to lose weight even thought that had nothing to do with my condition. I wonder whether he is more thoughtful and considerate now if he is part of the multi-disciplinary team they're setting up at UHNS?
Let us know how you get on though, I'd love to know what you think of him!!
