Sammy,

I'm not a Homerton person but hope one will be along soon.

Otherwise, you can google your surgeon's name and see how much you can find out from there?

I googled "Pratik Sufi" (my surgeon) a lot before going for my pre-op test this morning ..... most of what I found was very good, but I did also find a coroner's report of one RNY death -- however I took the view that as we all know there is a 1 in 1000 risk of death, how many surgeons have NOT had a death within 30 days of the op in the past 20 years, if they have been seeing hundreds (or thousands) of patients.

@ sammy this is what I found out about your surgeon.

Main operations he currently performs are:

I had my gb done by Mr Koak in Dec 2009. He had just started to do wls having been an experienced upper GI surgeon. My op went without a hitch and i got to goal 8 months later. He is very personable with a lovely bedside manner and a great listener. I havent seen much of him lately as i they keep cancelling my appts and i always seem to see his registar as i dont have any problems. Good luck.

oh tthanks me julie for taking the time to do that for me and thanks stell for telling me about your experience thanks everyone
