Negotiate?

Hi all

Do you think the Hospital Group will negotiate on price? Only I'm BMI 61 and so it's nearly £1k extra for the gastric bypass for me.

Anyone had any success negotiating with them?

I am sure they will negotiate a deal with you if they want your business, if you look on their website they are always offering £500 discounts for last minute appointments. Which surgeon are you look at to do the surgery?

Have you looked into a company called wls group, they're very good and good pricing!

Hiya,

Try and see if they will, they wouldnt with my band as they knew they were cheaper than most anyway but bet they have more room to discount a bypass. Have you met the patient advisor after the surgeon? They normally try the sales pitch maybe you could try her. I saw Sally at THG Bromsgrove.

i would say give it a go you have nothing to lose by asking

I was a bmi of over 50 I paid £9,950 for my bypass with THG I said I would wait until my BMI was under 50 to save the £1k, I got offered the discount and a date that was 13 days away
