hi folks
Hope all well.as some of you may know I went in for my bypass on tue,but unfortunatlyy my lung collapsed.bit better now,though god knows when I will be out.miss my kids so much and don't want them to see me in this state.how long does the sore tender stomach last for ? Also when did u switch onto v purred food won't waffle on.am on I phone and takes yonks 2 type.much lovve to all

Oh no Bel! What a nightmare!

The tender stomach will last for about a week to ten days, for me it was until my staples came out. Purees it depends on what your surgeon says, but standard seems to be around 2 weeks post op.

Hope you start to feel better soon, and manage to get home to your family, will be thinking of you x

Hun sorry to hear all did not go well. My tum was sore for the first week, a bit tender for the second & then I was good. Started the purees 2 weeks post op and I am still on them, I will be trying some soft food soon.

Hope you feel better very soon and tucked in with the family. ((HUGS))
