no ecg

just come back from my pre op assessment, all went ok but i didnt get an ecg is that ok.

i had mine in one of my first appointments not in my pre-op

they will most likley run 1 on the ward, as they will most likley have you booked in the day before the op x

I had an ECG as I take medication for raised BP. Others who had no cardiac history didn't have to have one done.

If you don't have cardiac or blood-pressure problems then you shouldn't need an ECG.

I didn't have an ECG but I went privately.

I was NHS but as I have no history of any problems, they just listened to me with a stethoscope and said I was ok.

I guess it depends on hospital or provider.

Everyone has one at the first appointment at Charing cross

Hi Kay, I never had one at Bournemouth either, I was surprised but prehaps its only routine if you have history of heart problems.
