Hi, I'm 7 weeks post gastric plication and have been furniture moving today which ha done my back in.

Does anyone know if it is safe for me to take non-steroidals, like ibuprofen or naprosyn now. Is my stomach healed enough to cope with them?

I would check with the doc wobble, but my guess would be that its ok for occasional use.

Have taken that, it's not strong enough, when my back goes I need anti-inflammatories

Could you try NHS direct?

Always check with you team.
If you are taking Lansoprazole or omeprazole you should be ok for a couple of doses until you can check with your team but use with caution if you have any pain stop using them
