Its feeling real now I am thrilled, I only found out 10 days ago that I have funding and now I have my first appointment on 3 November

Its with Mr Wedgwood at Castle Hill Hospital, nr Hull. It appears nobody on here has had him as I have searched

SO excited, it will fly by won't it

i am doing good thanks Dell.
I think I am losing inches rather than weight, which is okay with me. I am just finishing the puree stage and so looking forward to getting on soft food.
Bored at home but cos of my job my GP is not wanting to let me back at work yet. The op was so much easier than I dared to imagine but you have to have alot of respect for the surgery that has happened whilst you recover, especially as you can not see what the surgeon did!!!!!
Again, I am so pleased you have your date. Keep us all posted. xxxx

I remember that feeling well I was on cloud nine for days after as well lol and funny enough the day you see the consultant is the day i go in for my operation which is on the 4th.
The time really does fly. Congratulations and well done
