I have a cold it isn't bad but go in tomorrow 2pm for op, will they still go ahead, really worried....

Yes all went well thanks, now recovering, day 2 and when I swallow i feel a lump, is this normall

Congratulations! You will have had a tube or possibly two down your throat during surgery, and often that can scratch or slightly bruise the throat - I had a lumpy feeling and had a really weak voice for a day or two. Lots of people also say they feel like they have a hair caught in the back of the throat - again this goes with time and a hot drink can soothe it. Good luck!

Thankyou, did have a spoon of lasagne earlier mashed it up and only a small amount and am now worried I have done something wrong.
