Pain After Eating

Hi,
I'm getting a severe stabbing pain on my left side around the area of two of the incision points.
It feels like my stomach is emptying as it feels like it's gurgling.

Has anyone else experienced this pain? I asked the surgeon and he said it was normal but it is absolutely debilitating.

Are you eating too fast? Sometimes if you eat quickly you can get pain. Or if you eat too much?

I might be eating too fast but I'm eating tiny amounts of liquid. I'll try slowing down.

I get pain If I eat too fast.

Slowed my eating right down,and guess what? No pain! Speeded up again just a little (tiny) bit and mild but noticeable pain.
Part of the learning curve I guess.

Thats what we do best on here share our experiences with each other well done ladies, why couldnt the surgeon have said that, well thats because he hasnt experienced it, we have n thats why we can help each other. Its a mazing how much we learn as we go along on this journey is it not?? xx

yes if you drink too fast or eat too fast some people get a pain also u will get used to your intestines making loud strange noises like gurgling sounds all part of the strange new life
