Say Cheese......

Has anyone found a really good low fat cheese? Preferably a mature cheddar.

I've tried Waitrose, Sainsburys, Tesco's & they all are really rubbery & don't taste like mature cheese at all!

I love my cheese & having been doing Atkins I'm looking for a good alternative on the otherside!

Have you tried Kerry's "Low Low"? It's a bit rubbery but not too bad. They do it in a mature flavour.

i like the cathedral city, but its not mature. Its ok to use full fat cheese in moderation.

I use the Cathedral City Mature Light ready grated stuff! Yummy, really tastes like full fat, the kids love it and no one moans about it being 'diet' food!
I get it in Morrisons!

Cathedral city def a favourite in our house especially the mature one. As Shell says i also eat full fat cheese in moderation x

We have the Cathedral City cheese here too... I have the lighter version and the family love the other... it's been on offer at Asda, for £2 instead of £3.88. For one of their varieties.
