Sharp Pain

Wonder if anyone can help. I had my surgery just under a week ago, and from time to time, I'm getting a very sharp pulling type pain on my right hand side, about 2-3 inches down and across from my belly button. I don't have a wound site there, but am completely unable to lean to the right when sitting or lying, as it brings this pain on.
Would this be the site of an internal wound?
Anyone had anything similar?

More than likely internal, I had similar sensations last year after my op. Mine was where they'd run the drain. But get it checked out if it continues.

Thank you. I'll see how it goes for the next couple of days.
It's not bad or regular enough for me to take painkillers, so at the moment I'll just take it as a reminder not to push myself and allow it time to heal.
