Hi have been so ill in the night with the anestetic traped in me, been sick twice, when will this get better, nothing comes up just hurts mt tum am worried do damage x

It wears off son hun. I felt ill all night too but they said it was down to the amount of morphine I had to have in recovery. I couldn't even lick the sponge lolly! By dinner time the next day it had all worn off though xxxx Hope you feel better soon xxxx

Everyone is right, Bex ... some people just don't like the anaesthetic & strong painkilling drugs that are so necessary, but it is short lived. Bet you are feeling a bit better even now 4 hours after you posted. They will let you walk today & that will help. Hugs to you, honeybunch xxx :wave_cry:

i felt like i wanted to die post op having never really had any major operations apart from giving birth and it does get better babe xxxx

If the sickness does not calm down then ask them for some anti-sickness tabs. I had to take them for a few weeks post-op, but believe me it does get better!

Your doing great xx

Bex..... As everyone has said it will get better.
Just focus on resting (and moving) that wind can be quite painful! x

Was sick again at 1pm, anti sickness tablet I had before never worked, still got some discomfort but ickle better thanks, staying in tnite as to be safe xxx

Each day will get better Becky this is the hardest bit I think x

Hi becky I had my surgery about 6 weeks ago and I had the dame thing.

I had a terrible night on the 2nd night after the op I couldn't keep anything down, it was just the anaesthetic coming out but it isn't nice.

I had the same concerns as you but don't worry you in the best place and it will get better.

I do understand how you feel and I have such a bad threshold I thought I was the only 1 suffering ?but as it heals and keep mobile.

When you get on them scales for your 1st weigh in all that will all be worth it x

Take care
Joanne x

Aww Bex, so sorry to hear you're feeling poorly. As everyone else has said, it is just due to the anesthetic and the morphine etc. Sending you lots of love xxxxx
