The wind will clear hun, takes a couple of days and keeping active. I was up early too at the beginning too, just make sure you get some early nights so you dont wea yoursef out.. and if you can have a rest in the day xx

I'm only a few days post op but the wind has started - 'luckily' my partner was used to my pre op practice sessions so isn't batting an eyelid!!
I've got an excuse now, so he congratulates me on each one xx

Sent via telephonic magic!

:rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao::crazy::happy036: that really just made me laff - since mine i hardly have any wind from the lower regions - burping well thats a diff story :D

haha the wind post-op is always 'fun'! Fortunately mine only lasted one night and it was all out :) Word of warning though, Ad-Cal can give you bad wind too so you may wanna keep stock on those air freshners ;)

As for the sleeping thing, I've not slept properly since my op, I go to bed at my usual time of around 11pm but I generally don't fall asleep till around 2-3am and it's been like that since I came out of hospital. I'm hoping when I start back at work that will change.

H xx

Sorry to ask a silly question but... do you have to sleep on your back after the op or can you sleep on your side? I've tried sleeping on my back and it wasn't comfortable.

I was ok sleeping on my side, but it probs depends how much pain u have. I love sleeping on my front but was scared to for about 2 wks xx

I've struggled with my sleeping pattern since the op too hun but it is starting to settle down now. I can sleep on my side rather than back now too which might be helping?
I've luckily got 2 dogs to blame for the wind and I've got a stoma and dodgy bowel so they are used to it by now!!
xx

I could only sleep on my back for 2 weeks, then after that i managed to create a coccoon to my side which supported my belly. Just take your time xx
