So 1/2 a cup is how much ??

Hiya, I have to do 4 weeks on a liquids only post -op diet. I can have half a cup of thin soup. Now I 've got big cups and little cups. I 've just had half a little cup (about 75mls) which was plenty for today ( this is day 5 post op).
Please tell me how much half a cup should be? Sounds a daft question I know....

I have just finishes my 4 week fluid only diet, I gave up with cup sizes and just drank what I felt comfortable with, was sick of soup by the end of it though!!
