hi
can i suck on sugar free sweets at all? need to get rid of the horrible taste i have in my mouth all the time and thought it might help? xx

Hi Mandy
Im finding everything is trial and error, Im tasting a little of most things to see the reaction (if any). You'll be surprised what you can have !

At the moment Im hooked on Del Monte Orange lollies, they really quench my thirst and don't make me feel sick, and surprisingly I can keep down a dunked rich tea biscuit, it feels like a really nice little treat.

Remember everyone is different so what suits me, might not necesarily suit you.

Take Care

It will get better xxxxxxx

I did Mandy. I had sugar free werthers originals (not as nice as the non sugar free version though) and sugar free mints.

or have the dry mouth breath freshener spray it takes away bad tastes and hydrates your mouth too

absolutely - sugar free polos and Boots and M&S do a sugar free range which consists of orange and lemon drops and strawberries and cream and butterscotch - all at the checkout in M&S or the diabetic section of Boots. You can buy ice lollies too which are purely fruit based but I do appreciate that they are hardly the sort of thing for this weather. Also make sure you are hydrated as the bad taste could be from lack of fluids

Yes I have Sula CAramel Cream sweets - which are sugar free.

Also Atkins Advantage bars which are choccie (sort of) anfd also add to the protein intake lol!

Be careful with sugar free sweets 2 many and you will end up with stomach cramps and possible runs

Also check the cals :)

.x.

Yes, I agree with Teen - anything with Sorbitol should be eaten in small amounts. x
