I have been waiting to see if Derby were going to start doing gastric bypass surgery since my Consultant told me that they would be applying when I saw him in July. My step father sent me the following article:

Derby Hospitals a national recognised centre of bariatric surgery

This is great news for anyone being referred to Derby as before people were sent to Leeds who needed a bypass. Hopefully fingers crossed, toes crossed and whatever else I might be hearing something soon.

always nice to see more places avalible as some people have to travel miles, must be very difficult . Im really lucky as my hospital is five mins away from my house x
