Vitamin D

Hi all

Ive just had a letter from the hospital in reference to blood tests I had at the last appointment (although why its taken until now when the tests were done in october I dont know). They want me to go all the way there (over 2 hours away) just for a vitamin D injection. Do you think its reasonable for me to ask to have it done locally instead?

I think a quick phone call to request that it be done by your GP would be reasonable. A two-hour drive just for that seems a bit excessive. Good luck, Mxx

Thank you! I forgot I posted oops, I eventually got through to them and they said it was fine. I asked what my level was and it was 14, thats in the very low range :cry:
