I done something so silly tonite... We always (well apart from me now!!!) have treat night on Friday evening which consists of chip shop and sweets, well when dishing the boys fish and chips up I automatically pinched a chip, totally forgetting myself, I realised as soon as I done it , it left a really virtually feeling followed by me being extremely sick around 20 minutes later, I'm so worried I ve damaged my wrap and can't believe i was so stupid, what do you all think? X

hunny sounds like something i would do . try not to worry so long as its not stuck which sounds like it would have come out with u being sick .id keep sipping fluids if i were u and c how u feel in the next couple hours.not trained medically just telling u wot i would do hunny :)

I asked if being sick can damage the wrap as I am ALWAYS sick after anesthesia. They told me the chances of it being damaged by sickness are very very small. Its stitched to last!
Im sure the chip came up as it wasn't ready to go down.
Rest your stomach and drink some milk to counteract any acid. Usually works for me.
Reminder to self....... avoid chips lol.
Check with GP if you become worried though Jennie.
Bet I will be mega sick after mine. Usually have anti sickness so hopefully no urgey urgey.

Thanks girls, it's not painful or feeling any different now so hopefully will be ok, just goes to show how much of a habit we get into doesn't it, Definatly a lesson learnt!!! Thanks for your advice. X x

Hi Jennie don't worry. You're stomach is extremely swollen still so the sickness is probably a reaction to the chip hitting it and it being too bulky to handle yet. You won't have done any damage honestly (I managed to get a pill stuck and made a panicked call to my provider 1 week out) but if you get any pain or are worried, call your provider. Hope you're feeling better x
