Hi lovelies,

So I already had my pre-surgery assessment @ Homerton hospital back in November'13.

I was told to lose 5-10% of my weight which is 1-2 stone.

I know have an appointment with my surgeon in Feb.

I'm just wondering, what happens at this appointment?

He will discuss the op and make sure you are suitable for your choice, so you will've had blood tests etc in November so if everything is ok he will probably give you op date and liver reducing diet which is usually anything form 2 to 3 weeks its not very nice to do but very essential for you and himself to make sure the op is as safe as possible to do ...( if your liver hasn't shrunk he may just close you up again ) so make sure you do it to the letter :)good luck xx

when i met mine it was just a formality to discuss the options of what type of surgery and to place me on waiting list i had weight and stuff done beforehand as i attended my seminar same day
