What to take

I see very different lists for what's needed, for someone who is going to have a bypass, what should I be taking? Is it worth taking laptop/kindle etc? What's best, pj or nightie?

everyone is different i took pjs dont do nighties and they were fine as they were loose im an avid book reader so took book, mags and puzzle book and never looked once at them couldnt focus myself into them
so i would take them if you think u mite want and dont worry if you dont

I just took my smart phone, but to be honest, didn't really use it. I took short sleeved pj's rather than nighties as the ward I was on was mixed and therefor less likely to show anything I shouldn't. Short sleeves are much better for the iv's. Other than that I just took washing stuff and toothbrush etc.
