When can I drive again after my op?

Can anyone tell me how soon after having their band they were allowed to drive again please?

I'm due to drive to Finland soon (hopefully in the next 4weeks if my dog co-operates!), and I'm having my op on the 1st August so need to be up and driving almost immediately or am I in cloud cuckoo land ?

I was told three weeks after my bypass (although I have told my hubby 6!!!!)

I drove 2 weeks after my bypass but I would check with your insurance company first.
