When can I drive again??

I'm 16 days post op now and desperate to get out the house!! I wont go walking in my area because no matter who you are or what you look like you get abuse.
I'd LOVE to go on some winter walks but need to drive to get there.

I dont have any paperwork with guidelines and the few times ive tried phoning my team today I get no answer

Hi

I think most providers say when you are sure you can do an emergency stop and can wear a seatbelt comfortably but you need to also check with your car insurers as some of them have set timescales.

I used to work for a car insurers and ours was 14 day for an operation like a bypass but some will be different. The insurers I was with when I had my op didn't have any restrictions so I drove 13 days out.

Was hoping to have my car back today. Mums was in the garage so she used mine all the time she didnt have hers. Takes the piss abit I want to go out!!! ARGGHHHH!!!
