I've decided on bypass, you have to self inject for 2 weeks warfin to stop blood clotting think I'm more scare of this than the bypass! Lol! Thanks Claudia exciting day for us both xx

Is it a jab to the leg injection or any particular area? My hubby can't look at any needles so guess I'll be doing it myself grrrrr xx

I could do the injections in any area. The nurse in the hospital did them in my arm, but I did it in my stomach.

I'm not sure yet, will be told at pre op, would rather the stomach tho x

I think that will be the worst thing about the surgery ouch

It's not the injections that worries me it's the thought of injecting yourself yukky! Lol but got to be strong it's going to be a hell of a lot better than struggling with the day to day pain of being 22st!! Xx

I agree its not the injection but having to give it to yourself that scares me, but am sure we will all cope, just keep thinking of the slim healthy you and it will all be worth it.
