I know people who have come back on the Eurostar and on planes a few days post op! I'm sure you could do it but I wouldn't *want* to do it.

Had to chuckle today. Had my final check up at the hospital and when I walked in the surgeon asked if I was in the right clinic. Ha ha. He reckons if I get my BMI down to 28 and maintain for a year ill get my plastics. We'll see! Thank you NHS for my amazing surgery.

If its any comfort my cannula appeared when I woke up! I'd been butchered in my sleep where they'd obvious messed it up but I didn't feel a thing.

They will never show 'normal' people who are 'model' patients. It's just not enough drama. Leads the public to have a poor perception of us. We aren't all lazy, stupid, on benefits etc!
