has anyone on here had there surgery abroad.

I had my first op abroad through a British company who boast about their wonderful aftercare. The band was put too high up and it didn't work. The nurse in the UK didn't notice the symptoms and kept fobbing me off with diet instructions. I then went to Shaw Somers who arranged an Xray and diagnosed the problem. I needed a redo operation which cost more than the original op! I would stay in the UK and chose a surgeon (based on their reputation) and book directly rather than going through a company. Other people have have better experiences than me.

Oh dear encore! are you ok? p.s i dont know anyone whose had WLS surgery abroad other than tummy tuck and lipo.
