What advice have people been given on lifting following op please? I had a sleeve and am 4 weeks out. Live on my own so getting frustrated at things I can't do, or think I shouldn't do...

I think it was avoid it for about 6 weeks or until I no longer got any pain moving and twisting.
It's major surgery you're recovering from lovely and I get the frustration but try not to beat yourself up or compare yourself with others. Is it worth asking your team?

I thought that is what people would say, and I know it really. Not beating myself up or comparing, but yes very frustrated at always trying to find someone to help me do some of the simplest things that normally I can do despite being disabled. I know really that I should not unpack the new microwave tomorrow and lift it just so I can warm my food up. :(

Ideally no but you do need warm food :(
