Advice on what to ask at consultation

Good morning all

I'm having a facetime consultation tonight with my surgeon for a gastric rate and unsure what to ask, can anyone give me some ideas?

I thought I would ask about :
the recovery time
expected weight loss
I presume he will explain the complications and aftercare?

Gosh what to ask?! There are so many things to consider. I remember asking the following:

Complication rate
Expected weight loss in a year/2 yrs/3 yrs
Can weight be gained afterwards?
How big will my stomach be?
Excess skin after weight loss
Ongoing care provision by the team
Is counselling provided?
Will I be able to drink alcohol?

Basically ask anything that comes in to your head. They won't bat an eyelid - no matter how daft you think the question is. If they do then they're not the team for you.
