ANOTHER POSSIBLE NEWBIE

Hi everyone
My firend had the staple bypass last year and has done marvellous . I am now considering it so was hoping to get your opinion as to whether or not I should go for it .
I weigh just over 18 st but feel really unhappy.
Please help

Welcome to minis. I had my bypass 6 weeks ago and am so pleased that i did. However i did a lot of research first and asked a lot of questions to satisfy myself that it was right for me. I was 20 stone pre op. You have come to a fantastic place for answers x

I originally wanted a band but my surgeon advised that in my case i would be better off with a bypass. I am so glad i took his advice( i did research both ops myself). Here i am 7 months down the line and over 10 stone down. Hope this helps. Janey
