Im not sure if theres anyone currently posting who had their op abroad, but if you look up the diary of Kandy, she had her RNY in belgium quite a while ago now and managed to lose all of her excess weight - about 10 stones if I remember correctly.

i didnt but a good friend had his done in belguim and went back for his tummy tuck 2yrs later

I have a friend who went to belguim to have a gastric bypass and she lost about 12 stone and doing great!!

It's nice to hear some positive outcomes. I wonder why more people don't do it considering how much cheaper it is.

prob cos we dont know as much about it and there are a few horror stories out there about it not going well. I paid a fortune for the hospital group went from Ireland to UK but i felt if i was gonna bother at all i wanted it done right. So i suppose it depends on how much research you do the joys of the internet any place your considering can be easily checked out and normally there are reviews in some shape or form if you search hard enough. Good luck whatever you decide to do XXX
