Banders???

Does anyone have port ache???? When I bend right down it digs in and makes me go ouch!!! Can anyone advise me if this settles down or is it something I just have to live with. Also when I was messing with my scars last night (as you do) i'm sure I can feel the tupe connecting the band and port . Do you think this is normal?

Hi Pam, I can sometimes feel my port more than others, and 3 weeks on this is the only area that remains a little bruised. I find it worse at night when I lie on my tummy (but this is the only position I can sleep in!!) and also if I have been sitting at my desk crouched over for a long time. Not sure about feeling the tube - I must say I don't tend to prod that much!! For me, I guess the port is attached to the tube and depending on its position I suppose you could feel it but if you are worried just check with your doctor/clinic x
