Been for my fourth fill

and he managed to find my port immediately! A straight forward fill is so good, hopefully any others will be as simple.

I had put 1lb on, which considering the lack of restriction I'd had everybody was surprised it wasn't more.

The interesting thing was that I should have had 6mls in, but when he checked I only had 4mls, no wonder I was struggling! The consultant explained that this was common with problem fills as the poking around allows the solution to escape. So he put another 1.5mls in, taking me up to 5.5ml.

So I'm back with a positive attitude, bring on the losses

When had my second fill on tuesday the nurse said I have a lovely port - are you jealous?? Lol!

hope you have some restriction now sarah. weird that there is never the amount of fluid in there that we think. when i went for slight defill 2-3 weeks ago i thought i had 7mls in there but i only had 6mls o.25 defill taking me to 5.75mls in lol complicated this band stuff ain't it good luck x
