been on the list 3 half month at srh like to here from others at srh x

hi just like to no anyone who has been on the list at srh the same time as me i have been on 3 half month now would just like other peoples feelings are now the time is getting closer
 
Hi Christine, I'm at the beginning of my journey attended my seminar at SRH last month I was just wondering how long it took for you to get to the waiting list stage? Thanks Claire
 
about 18 month moast of that time was waiting to see the dietitian nurse. moast people saying about 18 to 24 month all together. but been told they are now doing opps on a saturday none urgent opps so maybe be a bit quicker now . its a long wait but be worth it xx
 
Hello christine, as you know had my endoscopy the end of may, havent heard a thing....still waiting, im finding hard to maintain my weight, need to get my head sorted and lose a bit more, have lost 4 stones since i was at the seminar way back in may 2011...slow and steady i know, would love to lose a bit more, will let u know if i hear owt x
 
yes if i hear anything ill let you no soon as i do, i no what you mean about maintain the weight im strugling i eat one day cut down the nexet day it seams to be working but it is hard. have you tried ringing your suregon secretary and find out anything i did and just got told im on the list that was it.
 
Thats the answer i got christine, the wait is 6 months and thats it! Well on the plus side we will both be done and dusted soon, theres light at the end of the tunnel for us! Take care x
 
Hiya there Christine, I have been waiting a while for an appointment from srh, finally am their on Wednesday next week. for my first appointment with the consultant. Then after that it will be the endoscopy, which I am not looking forward too. But I got told once you have had the endoscopy every thinks move's quite quick.
 
about 2 month wait for endoscopy then about 6 month wait for opp. hope this helps you sorry took me so long to reply just had flair up of my arthrits not good. i have been on the list 4 month next thursday im a bit scared but nervours and excited all at the same time xx
 
I have just this minute phoned to ask ware i am on the list and was told december time. That is what i have been told from the start so not be long now.

Have just rang and spoke to Mr Smalls secretary, she was lovely, but could only say that it would be no longer than 6 months from endoscopy to surgery, so Christine not long now, will let you know if i hear anything else x
 
Yes if i get any news everyone will no lol. She said december time for me so not that long to wait now. Dont no if i want time to fly or to go slow if you no what i mean, part of me is saying yes hurry up, the other part is saying im scared and nevous, but i think everyone must feel the same just scared of the unknown.
 
Christine, just had a phone call from Mr Smalls' secretary, got a cancellation for next sat! Cant believe it, im petrified already!x

Christine, i really wish you were coming with me! Im really nervous, but excited aswell, have started the milk diet, unfortunatley i was too excited today so havent had any sleep, and its my 4th night shift, its going to be a long nite with just milk and a yoghurt! Will keep in touch x
 
you will be fine just think this time next year you will be a skinny mini lol. i bet you are excited and freeking out aswell cos i would be im so pleased for you at least you havent got a lot of time to think about it, im freeking now and i no mine is in december lol you never no i might get a call to say it my turn. better put a rush on my xmas prezzies at least i got mine in my little beau little chihuauh he has got our 2 pugs run raggerd lol. from the botton of my heart i wish you a very speedy recovery. and looking forwad to hearing about you weight loss. good luck but i no you wont need it. xxx
