I have been really inspired by the biggest loser this evening and some phenomenal weight losses have been achieved.

Just for fun... whats your total percentage weight loss?

Mines a whopping 44.5%

im not sure what mine is, but ill have a look now. oh yeah, its 37.5ish.
how do they work all this out, and what is the EWL %? i find it all so confusing, and cant make head nor tail of it.

EWL is Excess Weight Loss.

It's predicted that you 'need' to lose 75lb in total. You've lost 70lb of that which is 92.2% of your excess weight lost.

You started at 187lb, you're now 117lb so you've lost 37.42% of your total weight.

aah right, thanks mixxie, it makes sense now, so if i altered my goal, that would alter the other figures wouldnt it, i think i get it now, thanks again huni, hopefully ill lose the other 5lb within the next couple of months or so, its coming off a lot slower now. hugs xx
