Just wondering.....when you are weighed, do they make you take your shoes off? I cant honestly remember!

I could have left them on if I wanted to but they're UGGs and probably weigh a couple of Lbs in their own right so I take them off x

Are you bragging newcy?? LOL

Depends on when...
When I was asking my doctor to refer me, I kept my shoes on. This made my weight greater, and therefore my BMI higher. It could mean the difference of a BMI under a threshold or over a threshold.
Cheeky, I know.

Of course, when it comes to actual record keeping of weight loss etc, I will take them off, then keep them off. The only way to ensure an accurate reading!

SNx

I have always took mine off, made sure not wearing jewellery or a belt lol. Wasn't until I found this forum I heard of people weighing themselves lol

Hardly! My hubby worked for a shoe store so I got them for next to nothing as they'd been damaged while on display. Plus they're about 5 years old so are pretty bashed up now but I still love them.

I will be bragging to the whole world when I get my knee high boots post-op - I can't wait to have skinny calves. Plus I won't have to take them off to be weighed lol x

I have the problem of having size 10 feet. So I get my boots from Evans. But I have relatively small calves for my weight. So some lovely boots have become slouch boots over time. Not sure anything will solve this problem, unless my feet shrink to size 8 lol

You might be lucky hun - I've seen posts off people saying they've gone down a shoe size or two post-op. Here's hoping x

Well I do remember being size 9 at 15st 8lbs. So maybe I can get to less if I get to goal. It would be awesome :)

I keep my shoes on when they weigh me unless there doing my height too cos my trainers add almost an inch lol, I hope my feet go to the size there meant to be cos I have to wear size 8 shoes but my feet are only a 6 in length lol Xx

I have lost 3.5 stone pre op and gone down 1 shoe size!! Xxx

I used to be a 5 and now I'm a 6~6.5!! Am looking forward to being a 5 again and getting some size 5 New Rocks!!!

Its amazing how much our feet alter with weight gain/loss. I wonder if they"spread" with all the pressure or actually get fatter!

i had to leave my shoes on when being weighed by the dietition she would wipe the scales with sterile wipes and say dont bother taking your shoes off as the amount of people who use these scales and dont take their shoes off, you dont know whats under someones shoe so leave them on, and thats what i did. xxxxx

I would tell her wipe it then and I will take my shoes off lol. Because in the summer I am in flip flops and by winter would be heavy boots. It would annoy me too much lol

I hate even having an afternoon appointment when the last one was morning lol

We are all told to weigh the same of fat after all :)
