your carb intake will be vastly reduced so the need for insulin will decrease too ...............i started the milk diet monday and have found that i don't need to do my novorapid with my milk but i have cut my humalin i by half .
your obesity team should be liasing with your diabetes team ..............i hope this clears things a bit
i had a low at work this morning and i had to break my milk diet by having to take on board some sugar in the form of 4 fruit pastilles (thats all the vending machine atwork had) so now i have to drop my nightly insulin by a few units its all trial and error as not everyones the same
