Drainage from incision

Have some whiteish yellow pus coming from my top incision (closest to stomach) the on call dr said hydrogen peroxide and bacitracin for three days, but I was wondering if anyone else had this experience?

Hi. I had one of my wounds open up a week & half after surgery. It had the same sort of puss u describe. I was told to keep it dry & dress it regularly to avoid infection. So long as it doesn't smell u know its not infected, which is the thing to be avoided!
You can buy wound dressing pads from chemists.
