Eating after bypass

You should get a guide to eating for the first 2-3 months or so, as you move from liquids to softs to regular foods again. After that, everyone is different as to what they can and can't eat. Personally I can eat everything! As a general rule, medium to high sugar foods will make you feel very ill (dump) and medium to high fat foods can affect your bowels in an unpleasant way, but again everyone is different and it's a case of trial and error.

I was told by my provider that eventually we should be able to eat 'normally'. However knowing a few bypassers i know some cannot tolerate bread/eggs/rice etc. It really is a brand new learning curve xx
