Endocronologist?

I have recently been approved for funding and now have an appointment to see an Endocronologist. I have to take a sample of my water and a completed questionaire about my eating habbits, diets tried etc...

Is this usually the stage at where the decision is made about band/bypass?

Has anyone else had this as part of their journey?

It was for me. Apart from i hadnt thought about surgery when i went to see him. It was the endocrainologist that told me it was the only thing he would do to help me. Who was i to argue with that!!! lol

I had to see an endocrinologist too, he made me laugh, as he had no idea really where his role in the decision was, apart from the fact he thought it was a good decision. He seemed to indicate that this part of the procedure was quite a newish step introduced.

I did'nt have to see one just the surgeon and then pre op assessment.
